Problem With Beatles "Revolver" CD

This is a bit odd. I recently bought a copy of "Revolver" It wouldn't play in my CD player. I thought it was a defective CD so I returned it and bought another one. It didn't work either. I just tried to upload it to my iPod but at first my computer wouldn't recognize it. After several attempts it finally recognized the CD. But the upload was extremely slow (about 10 minutes for one song while it normally takes 3-5 minutes for an entire album). Anyone know what is up with this?
