it's been so long that i'd forgotten the name of the genre i'm most interested in (new romantic). after i thought of a couple of new additions and heard a couple more oldies on the radio, i came up with these classic songs. a few of them were in the back of my mind (esp. don't dream it's over) but i just couldn't think of them. then i found a 7 disc rhino records 80s compilation that had many of the great new romantic songs.for anyone interested in modern pop (with a couple of oldies):
