I heard the Carlos Kleiber/Vienna Ludwig 5'6" von Bonn #5 (first movement only) tonight for the second time [meiner Frau und Ich were showing off the system to two very close friends], and it so major-ly kijcks Arsche — such insistence — "Follow me! Go here! And here! And here, you pansy! Relax a moment with the clarinets … but not too long! Let's go!!!" And all with the sense that nothing happens too soon nor too loudly nor too insistently. Such great music.
Anyway, what was I saying? Oh! Relax! Enjoy! You'll be fine in the morning, Robibadache! Slow down, enjoy the Langsam.
And I got a phone message earlier this evening that a CD I'd ordered arrived. It's got to be either a Gergiev conducting SOMETHING!!! or the Celibadache/Munchner Bruckner 7th. I'll be stopping by tomorrow morning (which you're already enjoying over there in WoodenShoe Land!) after slaving over a crew of sweating T'ai Chi players!
