From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

Qobuz streaming vs. CD and downloaded files

Qobuz often has great sound quality - but, for me, it's not as reliable as my home-sourced discs and files. On certain days, Qobuz doesn't sound as good to me as it does on other days or even other times of the same day. As I noted before, I listen to Qobuz via Audirvana, because I found the sound of Qobuz's own player not as clean. I wouldn't begin to speculate on the reason(s) for this.

You're right though that in some cases, Qobuz has both the new Tom Fine remasters as well as the Wilma Cozart Fine incarnations from decades ago, and, if you feel you feel that you can rely on the consistent sound from Qobuz, than that sort of all-Qobuz comparison might be useful.

For me, I'm just going to have to wait until my CD's arrive. I got a notice that they've shipped, but they're not expected to be here until Thursday or Friday of next week.
