I got a private email this morning with the news - looks like the Gramophone is already reporting it. I guess the question now is. . . whither Jared, who founded the label in 1990? Per Gramophone's article,
Charles Adriaenssen, Founder and President of Outhere Music, said. 'I'm delighted that Channel Classics is joining our group. Jared is a mythical figure in the world of classical music. . .
I think most of us around here do like Jared and wish him well.
