I have the annual plan, and I received notice that the price will be $130/year (previously $150/year), which works out to $10.83/month.It's a reaction to Apple Music adding lossless and Dolby Atmos at no extra charge ($10/month). Amazon already responded by dropping the price of their lossless/HD tier to match Apple. I suspect that Apple is also throwing Spotify for a loop. Spotify announced lossless to become available this year, and they were probably planning it to be a higher priced tier. Now Spotify will also need to match Apple with lossless at no extra charge.
