It may have much similar repertoire ( excluding, of course, the historic recordings from the Bibliotheque National de France which are exclusive to Qobuz AFAIK). However Qobuz offers more than just tracks to be streamed. This unfortunately does not seem to be appreciated by some people.

For example, many albums when selected display brief texts about the music or are available with the full CD booklet which can be viewed on your screen. There are also in depth articles ( called Panoramas) about music, musicians and related subjects ( I am currently looking at a fascinating one about Picasso and his relationship with 20th century music). IMO these place Qobuz in a different league when compared to the basic streaming offered by e.g. Amazon ( which, when I last looked did not even provide the ability to have bit perfect replay across a range of streamed resolutions unless one reconfigured the computer's sound engine every time an album with a different resolution is selected).

Even when moving away from the Qobuz app which is required to view the above and accessing it instead via a network player control app which contains the Qobuz API it is possible to click on an information icon for each track and have the identity of all the contributors displayed (e.g. composer, conductor, orchestra, main artist etc.). This is of particular importance where albums contain works by various composers.

Yes it does cost a little more but even then its price has been reduced several times. In any case you do get more for your money as above.
