The current news that I have is that Primephonic will be closed permanently from next Tuesday (7th). Its unique repertoire database will be added to Apple Music and they may add some of Primephonic's search facilities in due course. Current subscribers are to be offered a proportional rebate plus 6 months free access to Apple Music.
I think one can take the idea of Apple creating a stand alone classical music service with a pinch of salt. As I said earlier it will likely all run on the existing Apple Music platform and I anticipate that any specific classical music orientated feature (aside from the added repertoire) will relate to searching as above.
