Saw that. I have the other two releases and I can say that they are very well-recorded. A golden age for

capturing the sound of small ensembles, if I dare say. : )

As for the music: charming and sometimes moving, but, as Wagner pointed out, it rarely touches the soul. (And as for what Wagner actually said, let's leave it at that.)

As for the performances, they're my first exposure, so I'll refrain from commenting. They sound perfectly up to the task to me.
