I can't remember who I heard this about, some female pop singer of the past--I am not saying I recall it was Laura Branigan or Pat Benatar, but rather, one of that ilk, and of that vintage--that when the money was running short, a few private corporate gigs in Asia refilled the coffers.
Dunno if Lola is in that tier.
