Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

I had that album on an open reel tape myself and enjoyed it a lot. . .

. . . not only for the Ravel works, but also for the much less often heard Faure Fantaisie. (And of course having it on open reel was a big "luxury" at the time!) I really don't know why I've never acquired the CD, but perhaps I've been seduced by Martha and Khatia (at least in the Ravel G-major Concerto, Khatia only in concert) in the meantime. Also, I thought the Kocsis/Fischer recording was outstanding too - and the Zimerman/Boulez. . . Of course, none of those recordings had the Faure Fantaisie.
