There was a dealer salesman training Laserdisc disc, in which Ray Charles explained how compromised the sound from VHS video tape cassettes was, comparing it to the sound of Laserdisc, which he seemed to imply was better than LPs.
And at the end of all that he smiled broadly, and in a very confidential tone of voice, concluded "and I am told that the picture is EXCELLENT!"
