Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

It is terrible the impact this is having on many of the arts:

museums; galleries; symphonies; dance companies; theaters. In the US, since N. Carolina's Jesse Helm's gutting of the NEA, arts organizations increasingly have been dependent on private benefactors. Obviously, in a severe economic downturn, this is problematic. I wonder if most European nations, being equally hard hit, will curtail government art support?

I see that the St. Louis Art Museum has gone ahead and reopened, even though Missouri is experiencing a spike in Covid-19 cases described as the dreaded, "Second Wave."
