klipsch subwoofer not working

R101SW

I just picked up a brand-new Klipsch R-101SW, fresh out of the box and I've noticed that the bass output is unexpectedly low. I've tried multiple connection methods

- RCA Audio Out from my TV

- Line Output from my amplifier

Despite these setups the subwoofer's bass remains weak. The gain is turned up appropriately and I've ensured all cables and connections are secure. Are there any known issues with this model or specific settings I should check? Could it be a break-in period issue or is there something I'm overlooking?

I'd really appreciate any insights or troubleshooting suggestions from those familiar with this sub.
