General audio topics that don't fit into specific categories.

What, a server can't burn? Can't be flooded?

Disc drives don't get corrupted, aren't affected by magnetic fields? Can't have a mechanical failure? Solid state drives fail, too.
Streaming will be around as long as the internet is around and cell phone service is around. Either one of which can be and has been disrupted. In the past, it's been temporary but there's no guarantee about the future.
And no guarantee about the future of streaming services either. Like you said, as long as there's money to be made. That may or may not apply to the future.
Ultimately, there's no way to guarantee the survival of any music collection no matter how backed up you think you are. So why worry?

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
