My wife and I have the Deluxe versions of A-ha's Scoundrel Days, Stay On These Roads, and East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon.
Arguably, the greatest sonic improvement can be found on Scoundrel Days.
The sonic differences on Stay On These Roads are marginal.
East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon has always been somber and melancholy. The cleaner sonics on the Deluxe CD just make the music more depressing. So be careful.
On all of these CDs, the bonus material is....meh.
BTW, if you rip these Deluxe CDs, yes, sound quality (over the orignal pressings) should be preserved.
