First CD player in 83, maybe 84 was a Yamaha. Lasted about 18 months, at the most. Icy cold bitch. Even colder with Dire Straits Brothers in Arms playing. Joni Mitchell's Dog Eat Dog. Ear bleeders.Since then, I've probably has 15 players come and go while I dealt audio shit out of the basement.
The longest lasting and still being used are a Meridian 500 transport and a Sony CDP-203ES.
