Me? I'd be interested to hear what the designer calls, "the synchronicity of the leading edge of each note" does for progress in speaker design.
As long as I've been involved in the pursuit of better home music reproduction, a very long time, there have been these same reactions to the next big and expensive thing. Many of the "breakthroughs" that contribute to prices deemed "outrageous" are revealed as simply marketing hype. Some though, over time become commonplace in affordable gear and make everyone's enjoyment better.
