But it seems a lot of them think they are. And that is at the very root of what this guy was making fun of.
Audiophiles have been taught by magazines to do the exact opposite of what works when auditioning anything in audio. And that is how you sell magic rocks and $40K power cords to audiophiles. Convincing them to use the worst possible protocols for making comparisons.
Trained listeners are actually trained. They are not home schooled by themselves based on what they read in audio magazines or watched on Youtube.
