FWIW, Disc 2 is FAR better than Disc 1...... A lot closer to what I was hoping for......
It seems like the root problem with the sound quality of this album is that the microphones used for the female vocals have an annoying frequency response resonance, right in the mid-upper registers...... The sound quality outside the vocals is actually decent.
