my girl friend is a die hard digital music person. That is till she heard some vintage Dylan on vinyl. Now she's bugging me to set up a turntable in her place. It was pretty much done when I was visiting her and her daughter. They were listening to Leonard Cohen singing The Famous Blue Raincoat (it was good). I told them that there was better! Then I walked down to my place and brought a red book CD from the Devine Ms Warnes. They of course loved this version, but alas I told them there was something even better! We marched down the street with two bottles of wine for a listen to the same thing on 45rpm vinyl. Must have played it a half dozen times. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. We played music till dawn and went thru Dylan they've never heard of, and then to Miles Davis and finished out with the Beatles.
