Hoping for a speedy recovery. This is a terrible disease. It seems to inflict people sporadically. He is a diehard and a fighter, he will push through with flying colors.
Concerning interactions with Peter, I Saw him at the last Capital Audio Fest, 2019, spinning the Straingauge and the cactus tipped Hyperion cartridge in the demo room. Since then, sent in an old Benz LP to get retipped and purchased a Hyperion. Prior to the Hyperion, purchased the Sussaro MKII. Yes, been falling for the Soundsmith products because they are that good. Coming from the Benz LP, LPS family and Ruby Z, I find the Soundsmith sound just as pleasing and some ways, way more pleasing than any of my Benz's. Peter and his team, or Peter himself, make very understated products which compete above their price ranges. Here's to a speedy recovery🍺
