There are a few here that assert that essentially all s/s is bad because it requires much more negative feedback. That feedback produces higher-order harmonic distortion which is always bad, even at very low levels.

On the flip side the same folks insist that 2nd or 3rd order distortion is benign even at highish levels, and not really heard as distortion per se.
