Charles Hansen




Hello Everyone,

I hope this is an appropriate place to post this, but as Charley's social circle was primarily the forums in his later years due to his accident, I thought it would be right to inform the community of his recent passing.

While very passionate in his beliefs, I know Charley always enjoyed discussing music and audio theory with everyone here. He will be very much missed by those of us at Ayre Acoustics, who will continue his legacy of making audio equipment that was about the sound first and foremost.

As a close friend to Charley, I know he enjoyed nothing more than passing what he knew on to others, and it was a great comfort to him knowing that those that read what he wrote or listened to what he said could have a piece to take with them of what he had learned over the years. Please never lose your passion for music and know that the team at Ayre will be there to continue his vision in the years to come. If you have any questions or memories of Charley, please feel free to share them on the Facebook page. I'll try and check here from time to time as well.
