I'm not sure if it worked on pests but I was surprised to learn that even if I could not hear ultrasonic sound, I felt it's presence. It created an annoying pressure around my head when the device was turned ON. ;-)"
I contend that the switching in active digital audio devices and PCs has this very effect...... I feel as if my brain wants to escape from its cranium........
