Given that, as you go up the price scale on Audio Note gear, the climb can get very steep, it is easy to not think of them as a "budget" company. But, their lower end stuff is really quite a bargain, given how musical and lively their gear sounds. Their speakers, in particular, are all quite good even though they don't have much bling to them.
I have never heard of KingKo amps. Is it something with EL 84s in them? When it comes to budget tube amps, it is hard to beat that tube.
