I am sure you mean the Newport Home Audio Expo which I have attended the last 3 or 4 years and spent most of my time in their room listening to tunes and sampling their fine booze. They know me. Before that it was in Las Vegas and also where I spent much of my time (and in the VMPS, SST room listening to live vs recorded jazz with Brian and James). I probably met them in 1998, my first show in Vegas. I sure miss the time CES High Performance Audio and THE Show were side by side hotels across from the Hard Rock, and there was a free lunch too. It became a cheap lunch with speakers and music later at the Riviera and a nice large batch of vendor tables and a short walk from the Venetian.
Last year, in Newport after Mr. Beers had passed Anton told me they had already reserved a room for 2017 but it was later moved to Anaheim, a longer drive for them and myself so I must conclude they aren't going to be there. I really hope they are both well.
I am going to spend my money on concerts this year and skip this years show as without NFS it will be quite boring especially after hours.
