RE: The MP3 is finally dead

Last Christmas I googled the lyrics to Handel's, "Messiah." I noticed that the lyrics had been copyrighted by Sony Corp. I wondered, how the F are these lyrics owned by Sony?

What was the old law? 27 years before music passed into the public domain? It just goes to show what kind of base whores our politicians are that they will do anything for anybody as long as they get paid.

The Beatles, the Stones, and even Snow White should be in the public domain by now, but the corporations with the money paid the bribes to keep them in their pocket.

What is it now? The life of the artist plus 75 years?

I'll just leave it at that.
