Nothing has really changed since the March 21 upgrade to secure status. Since then, I've fixed a few bugs where we had old code not referencing the https versus http (non-secure) host names and we added a few more SSL certificates.
It's quite strange that some folks had issues and others had none and most seemingly went away. I suspect that we hit a perfect storm of browser crackdowns that demanded secure status for any page with a password and warnings of any unsecure element, mostly graphics referenced from other sites and anti-virus software that was erroneously preventing connections prior to recent updates.
From my end, I never could reproduce the problems, so it remains a mystery.
