Either I don't get out enough or haven't seen a single mainstream store showcasing discrete audio components or providing audition of fine recordings, over the past fifteen years.......Aside from the "equipment vs. music" thing, there's nothing similar at all between the video and the audio community today. (Heck, the old video even shows women interested in quality audio/recordings.)
That said, I really enjoyed the video.... It showed that quality audio and quality recordings were once a lot more mainstream than it is now.
