... well, modern, minimal composition, ambient (NOT New Age), neo-classical et al. The linked article, however, highlights the cliche aspects (and attudes) of the genre... sound like it is written by someone who doesn't really get it.
I've been surprised that despite seeming quieter, most of the minimal composition - even heavily drone-based - stuff has greater dynamic range (measured per R128 methods) than much of the other music I own, including Jazz, indie variants etc.
Still, 24 hours, there? Yuk much! I have the impression that the music secondary at that event.
