I have a 17yo that listens to some type of weird gaming music. I forget what it is called, but it's similar to House with a repetitive beat that drones on for hours with random electronica sound effects every now and then. He doesn't live with me.
I have a 14yo that does live with me and he HATES the talentless autotuned rubbish that his peers are listening to. He listened to some newer rap until I turned him on to rap from 25-30 years ago. Back when at least somewhat talented people were still producing it. He also like classic rock, some reggae, Sublime, and The Dead Milkmen.
