What are those tweets?

We were shown some homes yesterday, saw one with this setup.

Walking through the front door, spied a 63 Karajan Beethoven box and a Gidon Kremer LP plus the system.

This owner added compression tweets with level controls on top of his B&W. What are these? Wife wanted to leave and not look, so we left.

Many of the latest McIntosh including mono blocks. Several pieces not shown, located near the stairs. Lots of moola.

Unfortunately, the room was limited acoustically. And the place was super nice, but beyond our needs.
