Here, too. My wife's Pathfinder came with a Bose stereo. I'm always turning the bass down to about -3 or -4, but I can't EVER get it to sound GOOD - just less bass. We didn't ask for the system, and didn't even know they had one. When the vehicle was delivered, it was just there. I was not happy.
Morons who have those "one note" subwoofers in their cars do it because, among a certain demographic, it's perceived as cool. They'll be among the ones flipping burgers when they're 50 and complaining about the minimum wage.
