I don't know as my Cox setup is different. All I got from them was a Cisco cable modem, then I plug my router into it via the WAN connection. The router has a default password and username, admin/admin, that should be changed. I then have wireless access points or WiFi routers in a few locations which also have admin logins as well as WiFi passwords.
Some systems have a network login just to access Cox's network or whatever. If that's what you have, you still should login to the router and change the password which would be different from a network login.
Confused yet?
