Still, we are very fortunate in San Diego to have KSDS 88.3 (San Diego City College) as an all jazz and blues station. They don't play light jazz, except for an occasional rare mistake. ;^)

Years ago I looked into becoming one of their volunteer DJs but they required completion of a broadcasting course. Unfortunately that was difficult to get into (high demand) and I ended up taking History of Broadcasting and Broadcast News Reporting which included on-air time. But I never became qualified to spin records and became busy with other things.
