I just met a young man of 35 in a random conversation and invited him to a local jazz event. He actually came, liked it and seems interested in my recommendations. He expressed what could be called mild shame about his lack on knowledge of jazz. So, I guess there is some hope out there. It is now being rated as the least popular music, based on sales I think. Look what's happened and is happening to the whole culture. I've invited many people to this jazz club and I think he is one of only two who came when I was there. The other one was a female jazz trumpet player who I saw on the street from France or Canada. This culture has turned deeply anti intellectual and extremely shallow. Taylor Swift is reported to have made 170 million this year. You see what we are up against. You can post on the music forum anytime you want. Happy Listening T456
