wished a HAPPY F*UCKIN' RECORD STORE DAY! to employee (and friend) Joel Gion yesterday afternoon.
That was about it.
Didn't buy a thing (hadn't seen anything on the list that interested me) but WOULD have bought the new Santana IV CD IF they carried CDs there.
The irony of being able to walk to the local record shops and buy an LP but NOT a CD is certainly not lost on me in the year 2016.
I walked by THREE record shops and a stereo shop that carries some used LPs yesterday.
