That sounds good. There are alot of good effective DIY vibration control solutions that you can do for practically nothing. I've been known to cut up an old-style thick neoprene mouse pad or even thicker, a neoprene keyboard wrist-rest to use as equipment footers and they work fairly well. Still nothing that I've tried beats Herbie's Tenderfoot footers, but when you need to buy a lot of them at $15 or so each it tends to add up rather quickly.
