Yep. The important thing I think is to listen to facets only as a means of identifing and fixing problems with the whole, because judgments of realism depend on an intuitive evaluation of the whole. If you start basing your evaluations on the facets rather than using the facets as a tool, you can lose touch and end up with a system that excels in certain audiophile qualities but doesn't sound real.
