Yes, amps do break in. Generally, this is a mellowing and opening of the sound. It might take a few days to a few weeks, but the sound will change.
However, the Aragon 8008 is generally a somewhat bright and detailed amp with a bit of an edge to the sound (although not at all what I would call harsh), and might not be a good match with your speakers. Did someone specify this amp as a good match, or did you just pick it out for price/power reasons?
If your listening room is different from what you're used to, this will also change the sound if now there are more reflective surfaces.
You can always try different IC's or speaker wire as a tone control, or use room treatment to reduce reflectivity.
