Don't know about your application nor the specific subs, but I use a Velodyne HGS-15 in a system with KEF 104/2s and an HGS-10 in a secondary system with KEF 102/2s. In both cases, crossover is set electronically at 80 Hz. I strongly recommend these subs for providing the lower octaves for systems in which music is important; they blend seamlessly with the mains. The servo mechanism permits control of diaphram excursions to reduce distortion, resulting in unusually clean and well controlled bass.
And of course they're splendid for flicks.
