DQ-10's were far from perfect but they revoutionized my taste in sound. Up till the DQ-10's I had never heard a speaker that could produce both good imaging AND a decent soundstage. In many ways, they set the stage for modern speakers such as Celestion SL-600's and many other designs that projected space. Yes, they had warts but are classics in my mind.
They can be improved vastly using modern drivers. The basic concept holds up well. They are the direct ancestor to Vandersteen's.
