You might be suprised. Like I mentioned, after a couple of days, it was obvious to me that, with the Rega sources, the Mira sounded better than the AR VSi55 integrated. Years back, I owned a Mira / Planet / ELA set up that to this day, I remember made wonderful music. Had I not bought the AR, I would have lived happly ever after running the Triangles thru the Rega electronics. Not being able to hear the Rega speakers before purchase was a bit of a risk but remembering the ELA's, I figured it was a good bet. I was right. I was also able to move up the Rega turntable foodchain a bit. I'm finding the P5 to be a very worthwhile upgrade over the P3. I also am hopefull I'll get over my constant wanting to upgrade. Why change anything in this system when it's all made to work together!
