Yes, your CD player is the likely culprit

as Carlos pointed out, probably the output coupling capacitor - though it could be another component depending on the design.

DC leakage has a couple negative side effects; depending on the level of leakakge it can lead your woofer voice coil to overheat earlier than otherwise expected and, it can cause linearity distortion since the woofer will see compression earlier on 1/2 of the cycle. A little leakage is probably not a concern but, we don't know how much you actually have. Its better not to have any.
