I like the clean look of components that are all esthetically matched.

I could never quite understand why audio-mag reviewers didn't just review matching systems, especially amp and pre-amp and CD player as well if the company makes good ones.

Esthetically, I tired of the disparate equipment all over the place look. No one the high-end failed to go anywhere with the upscale consumer.
