Red Rose and Dusson, Insignia and ???

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

Red Rose (a Mark Levinson sp? company) had some gear that apparently looked too familiar, like that of the much cheaper Dusson brand. Of course Red Rose claimed it was not the same on the inside. Not sure if anyone ever got to the bottom of that one. I just got my new Acoustic Sounds catalog today and see they are now selling a Dusson integrated which certainly reminds me of some Red Rose gear of a few years ago.

There was also something recently about Insigna speakers from Best Buy being the same as a brand that sold for quite a bit more....do a seacrh here on AA for more details.

In regards to the Magnum/Parasound tuners Abe mentioned, it seems a bit of a shame that it was Magnum who used Parasounds design (if that is in fact the case) since Magnum is the one known as a great tuner manufacturer!
