Re: How to deal with refused claim from FedEx

If you think they're breaching their contract with you, file a consumer complaint with the State Attorney General's Office of your state, even as you pursue your claim with Fedex.

Keep records of everything you send, receive, and every phone conversation (get names, dates, and take notes of the conversation, follow up in writing if need be).

I had to file a claim for a lost package that Fedex claimed it delivered. Long story short, the delivery guy eventually admitted he'd forged the acceptance signature of the mailbox business I was using at the time, because he 'was sure it must have been delivered.' Even with a affidavit from the mailbox business owner/manager stating they'd never received it and recounting the delivery guy's admission, and reams of copied emails, tracking screen printouts, etc., it still took about five months to get the claim paid.

So, hang in there, keep pushing, and good luck!
