Being in biz not easy, and certainly dealing with the likes of us (speak about yourself thar elmo!). For a while now, seeing this muddy stream/flow, would have hoped Mr. Welborne would have responded/addressed this crowd, here. Don't know the man, never met him, never purchased any product. But driving around this bloody car wreck every other week now, is not pleasant.Anyway, specifically responding to general point/s in post. I once made a purchse from an online, surplus electronic parts dealer. T'was quite some time back, and I was wanting to dabble in a diy turntable. The catalog showed a really tasty lookin DC motor, reeking of quality/expense/sophistication. But ..... even the motor price did not meet the minimum purchase requirement amount.
So, I padded the order with some cheap junk I didn't really need. An item or two I could maybe possibly use. Son of a beach, the order shows. No fookin motor, just the crap. And .... it gets better, a "credit" for the balance/difference spendable only with them.
Order form had a box, which I had check marked: do not short fill/back order/completer order only. I called them on a terrestial land line, and gave them a large piece of my mind. Yes, a refund was received.
