If you have unneeded "service processes" running in the background, turning them off can do wonders for your PC's audio.In fact, this may be the best demonstration I've encountered regarding the effects of processor tasking and RFI on digital sound.
The best part- The tweak is free. As long as you're familiar with the "Services" settings on a Windows PC.
